The ‘Fashion Show’ campaign aimed to promote the work of the graduating students from the Fashion department at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, supporting a yearly public event that acts as a platform to exhibit their collections.
In 2019, the event proposed a new perspective on fashion shows. It incorporated a fixed-image performance to the traditional catwalk.
In reaction to this new perspective, our campaign identity affirmed and drew attention to new perspectives in fashion—imagining an ethical future for this industry where new materials are manufactured in an automated factory alongside meticulous manual labor.
The deliverables of this identity included a logotype, campaign videos, offset-printed newspapers (in an edition of 600), and other on-site materials.
